With just a few simple ingredients, enjoy the taste of homemade cheese spread infused with herbs and garlic. Spread it on your favorite crackers or add it to your sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 1/4 cup hung curd
  • 50 gms grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper powder

Instructions

  • To begin, crumble the paner.
  • Blend together paneer, hung curd, grated cheese, mixed herbs, garlic powder, salt, and white pepper powder until smooth and fluffy.
  • If the mixture is too thick to blend, add a teaspoon of hung curd. Avoid adding milk.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with some dried herbs and serve with crackers.

Notes

  • Fresh paneer works best for this recipe. If it is unavailable, you can use a store-bought one.
  • Store the cheese spread in an air-tight container and refrigerate for extended use.
