Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sago flour (sabudana flour)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Instructions
- To begin, blend the wet ingredients – milk, oil, and egg.
- Add in the sago flour in batches and pulse blend. Remove to bowl.
- Next, add salt and cheese. Mix well until smooth and knead into a soft dough.
- In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200°C or 400°F degrees.
- Grease the mini muffin tins well. Divide the dough into 18 equal portions. Place in the muffin tin sections and press down a bit.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden. Do not open the oven door before they are done or the puffs will sink. Move them to a rack until they cool down a bit.
- The Sago Flour Cheese Puffs are ready to serve.

I’m so excited to try this! But I have family members with dairy restrictions as well. Will this work with oat milk or another dairy alternative? Vegan cheeses usually work pretty well, but milks don’t always work because of fat content.

Thank you so much. You can use any other dairy alternative
