I have always believed that cooking isn’t rocket science. Recipes can be as easy or as difficult you make them to be. At Mads’ Cookhouse, I wanted to share easy recipes, time-saving tips, all while having a lot of fun alongside. If the recipe looks too easy, it actually is.

I launched my blog Mads’ Cookhouse on March 18th, 2020. At 70+, it was a way to keep me busy. Two years and 150+ recipes later, it has been quite a journey. Read along as I share what I have been up to this past year.


Winning the Best Debut Blog at FBAI 2021

The year began on a high note with winning the Best Debut Blog at the FBAI (Food Bloggers Association of India). One of India’s premier online news channels on food, chefs, food bloggers, restaurants, and food events. It was indeed a lovely surprise and motivated me to continue to share more recipes.


My Second Cookbook

In November 2021, I came out with my second cookbook, My Mystery Cookbook 2021. As a big thank you for all the love and support I continue to receive, the book is free to download. It is a collection of twenty of my favorite recipes. Recipes fit for every meal – breakfast or dinner, or just a quick tea time snack.


Ranked #11 among Top 40 Home Cooking Podcasts

A recipe podcast! Who would have thought! I launched the Mads’ Cookhouse Podcast in August 2020. Recently, it has been ranked #11 among the Top 40 Home Cooking Podcasts you must follow in 2022.

My blog has also been listed among the best blogs in India second time in a row.


Cookpad India

Cookpad India has become my second home. I joined the community in June 2020 and there has been no looking back. I love participating in their challenges. It is always great being featured on their newsletter and on social media, and winning contests. Recently, I was declared the Super Chef of the Week.


Pinterest

Pinterest and Mads’ Cookhouse got back a long way. I have continued to be featured on their Today tab. And late last year, I participated in their workshop on Idea Pins and shared a few recipes to try out in the new year. I love hearing back from my followers across the world on how they loved my recipes.
