Celebrating 3 Years of Mads’ Cookhouse: Reflections on the Year Gone By

3rd Blogiversary Mads Cookhouse

I launched MadsCookhouse on March 18th, 2020. It has been three years of sharing 200+ incredible recipes with all of you. Some family favorites, some age-old recipes from my mother’s kitchen, and some unique ones too. I wanted my recipes to be easy to follow by even novice of cooks. At 70+, age is just a number for me.

Join me as I look back at the past year, celebrate my achievements and some of the most popular recipes, and give you a sneak peek at what’s coming up.

My Cookbooks

In May 2022, I came out with my third cookbook, My Treasure Hunt Cookbook — a treasure trove of some of my favorite recipes. The book is free to download for a limited time. So grab your copy now!

I also participated in an anthology Yummy Life on Plate – Season 2 along with 27 other home chefs. A big thanks to Samata Dey Bose (founder of indiacafe24.com) for this opportunity. The anthology is available in both ebook and paperback format.

My Blog and Home Cooking Podcast

My recipe podcast, Easy Recipes from Mads’ Cookhouse Podcast is ranked #8 among the Top 40 Home Cooking Podcasts worldwide you must follow in 2023. Who would have guessed a recipe podcast would be so successful.

My blog has also been listed among the best blogs in India third time in a row. It has attracted over 125K views across 150+ countries in February 2023. Some of the popular recipes such as Chicken Mince Shepherd’s Pie, Prawn Makhani, and Homemade English Mustard continue to be top-ranked at Google. My recipes have been featured among the top posts at Blogchatter.

Cookpad India

Mads’ Cookhouse wouldn’t be the same without Cookpad India. I joined the community in June 2020 and it has been my second home since. With some recipe challenge or the other every week, it sure keeps me on my toes. Getting featured in their newsletter and on social media is always a cherry on top. I was also featured on Cookpad Tales around Mother’s Day in 2022. I have won more badges there than I can count.

Pinterest

Pinterest and Mads’ Cookhouse go back a long way. I have continued to be featured on their Today tab. I love hearing back from my followers across the world on how they loved my recipes and their experimentations.

What’s coming up

I am all set to launch my fourth cookbook, this time on Amazon. A collection of 40 breakfast recipes. Stay tuned.

I will also be starting my long-pending newsletter soon. Get on the list by signing up. What’s more, you get a free copy of my second cookbook, My Mystery Cookbook 2021. The offer is for a limited time, grab your copy today.

As I complete three years of blogging, I along with my daughter Ritu @ Bohemian Bibliophile are sponsoring seven weeks of Blogaberry Dazzle 2023 – Season 1. There is no better way to give back to the community that has always supported us.

When I launched my blog, it was more of a platform to showcase my recipes. Over the past three years, Mads’ Cookhouse has grown to be an integral part of my life. I am loving every minute of it. Thank you dear family, friends, and readers for always supporting me. I love hearing your feedback when you try out my recipes. It sure makes my day.

God bless you all!
